-Do you buy a purse for 1 occasion & don’t need it anymore? “Trade it”
-Do you wear stuff a couple times & it just ends up hanging in your closet? “Trade them”
-Is your baby/child outgrowing clothes quickly? “Trade up”
-Do you need something to wear for 1 occasion that you see listed? “Get it, Wear it, and trade it over again”
-In this economy, we all can save a lot of money by helping each other and this is a FUN way to do it.
** If you are a designer and have your own website, we can post your link for you. This is a great way to advertise your creations. If you aren't a designer and would like to have your website listed on our Links page, we can post it for you as well. You must be a member of closetcandy to have us list your website on our Links page.

HOW IT WORKS **********************************************************
You have 2 options: (ALL UNLIMITED TRADING)
1. $20.00 every month
$100.00 for 6 months
$180.00 for 12 months which gives you 3 FREE months!
*You DON'T do anything with this member option except send us the clothes.
We take the pics, do the description and post, and we mail out the items.

2. $5.00 every month
$25.00 for 6 months
$50.00 for 12 months which gives you 2 FREE months!
*You take the pictures, e-mail us the description with the pics and WE post it.
You also have to pay and mail out the items to the addresses we provide.

*Trading is between items listed on closetcandy and you.
*You must have an item of your own to trade to get an item in return.
(1 for 1). The more things you have to trade, the more things you can have for free.
*All regular items “non-designer” trades 1 for 1 (clothes/shoes/purses/jewelry, etc)
*All designer items trade for any designer item, 1 for 1 (Coach, Juicy,
*If you want to trade a non-designer for a designer, you have 2 options.
1. Send me 5 items (non-designer) and you can receive 1 designer OR
2. Pay a fee which can range from $12.00 and up depending on the designer item you want. You have to contact us with the item number to find out. The reason for the fee is that some designer items are very expensive.
*When trading kids clothes, shoes or accessories, you can trade 1 for 1 whether if its boys or girls or a mix of both. **If it’s a DESIGNER item, you trade 1 designer for 1 designer**
(If you want to trade non-designer for designer, you can: 1. Send me 5 items (non-designer) and receive the 1 designer OR 2. Pay a fee which can range from $7.00 and up depending on the designer item you want. You have to contact us with the item number to find out).
*When trading books, it’s 1 for 1 no matter which book you choose.
*$20 a month is much cheaper than buying a whole new wardrobe which can cost you $100’s.
*You can keep your new item as long as you want or you can trade it again.
*Refer a friend or family member. If they start using closetcandy, you will get 1 month free!!! (There is no limit to how many people you can refer or how many months you get for free).
We also have contests which give way free months as well. Check our NEWS page every once in a while for details.
*Any gently used item you wish to have listed MUST be in new condition. (NO tears, NO rips, NO odors, NO stains, NOT stretched out, NOT faded, NOT unraveling, NOT broken)
*It doesn’t matter how old the item is, as long as it’s in new condition.
*YOU want items in new condition and so does everyone else.
(We will return any item to you if we feel the item isn't gently used)

SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS **************************************************
-When you trade an item(s) you no longer want, you are entitled to get an item(s) for free. Shipping is ALSO FREE to receive the item(s).
-When you are instructed by us to mail out your item(s) to another person, YOU have to pay to ship it to them.
-You must ship the item within 5 days of notification that you need to send out your item(s).
-Packages need to be sent with delivery confirmation or tracking number. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL TERMINATE YOU FROM BEING ALLOWED TO TRADE WITH CLOSETCANDY. This protects you from any problem that should arise regarding proof of shipment. Delivery confirmation is free if you use priority mail and you can purchase the postage online at USPS.com or you can purchase delivery confirmation at a very low price for standard mail. If you use USPS.com, the mailman will pick it up from your house and you won’t need to go to the post office.
-If you decide to use another service other than USPS, you still need to have a tracking number or delivery confirmation.

HOW TO GET STARTED ******************************************************
** Before any trading, you must be a member. By being a member means you must have a Paypal account in order to make your low monthly membership payments. It is that easy! (There is a Paypal link at the top of the page)
**E-mail info@closetcandy.net and state you want to become a member.
Give me your name, address for shipping purposes, phone number (optional), e-mail address, and which of the 2 member payment options you choose to use.
**All of your information stays with CLOSETCANDY EXCEPT your shipping address for items to be sent to you. (Your shipping address is ONLY used for shipping purposes. We DO NOT send out any junk mail or give your address out for junk mail). EVERYTHING else stays with CLOSETCANDY.
1. You MUST take a picture of the item on a white background or light colored background. (This makes the items easy to see clearly on the pages)
If it’s a white item, put it on a dark background, preferably black.
-Clothing should be hung on a hanger in the picture for a neat appearance.
(If you put a tack in the back of a door and run a string around it and pull it up over the door to the front of the door you can hang a hanger on it OR put a tack on a white wall)
** You can have it neatly laid out for the picture if hanging isn’t an option.
**For purses, please have a picture of both the outside and inside of the purse.
(If you don’t have time to take pictures or for any other reason can’t take pictures, please just send us your items and we will post them for you. Check under the member options for us listing for you)
2. E-mail us the pictures with a description of everything.
Ex: Size, color, brand (if it’s designer), material (velvet, polyester, cotton, linen, leather, etc). List pockets, zippers, buttons if any. The more descriptive, the better. If it’s a designer replica, you MUST state that in the description.
3. We will post your item(s) within 24-48 hours of your e-mail. You will be able to receive an item(s) immediately once your e-mail is received by us. We will respond back to you stating we received your e-mail.
*If you are sending your items to us, once we get them you can then receive items. (During this time of us waiting for your items, go ahead and choose items you wish to have and e-mail us the list with the item numbers and we will hold them for you until we receive your items that you mailed us)
4. When you find an item(s) you want, simply e-mail us with the item number(s) and we will contact the trader the same day and notify them to send out the item(s) to your given address. We will then remove the item from the site.
5. That’s it! Easy! Simple!
